Another district official killed in Mogadishu

More details are emerging this morning from a assassination that took place in Karaan district of Banadir region.
The killing reportedly took place in one of the neighborhoods of the districts, with the victim being a woman whose name was only shortened to Suldano by local residents.
According to local reports, the woman was working with the Karan district administration and was a member of the district court’s dispute resolution committee.
Residents said the perpetrators fled the scene after the incident.
Somali security forces arrived at the scene within minutes and conducted a brief search.
There is also no word yet from the administration of Karaan district regarding the killing of a official member of the district.
This is the second killing in Mogadishu in the past few hours.
In recent days, there have been acts of insecurity in the capital, including assassinations and bombings that have caused various casualties.
