Businessman killed in Mogadishu; suspect shot dead by police

Gunmen have shot dead a businessman near a garage in Mogadishu this evening in the Dharkenlay district area.
Ali Abdulkadir Mudey, who was also a doctor, died on the spot, and was the brother of HirShabelle MP Hassan Abdulkadir Mudey, and the motive for his killing is unknown.
Reports say that after the killing, the security forces chased the assailant into a house in the neighborhood with a shootout occuring between the security forces and the gunman.
Police say the suspect was killed in the shoot out.
Officials say children in the house where the man was fighting have been rescued and the situation is now back to normal in the area.
