COVID 19 death related cases reported in Mogadishu

The Federal Government of Somalia’s Ministry of Health said in a daily report on the Corona virus data that 90 new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the past 24 hours, killing 10 people.

The Minister of Health and Social Welfare of the Federal Government of Somalia, Ms. Fowziya Abikar Nur, confirmed that new cases have been reported in Banadir (40), Puntland (26), and Somaliland (20).

The number of COVID-19 cases registered in the country reached 17,302, and with 8,363 people were cured.

A total of 963 died from the disease.

Federal health minister Ms. Fowziya Abikar Nur called on the community to take the advice of health professionals and other public awareness campaigns on the dangers of the disease, as the risk of COVID-19 has redoubled, and to be vigilant in the process.
