Federal Electoral Commission Urges Authorities to Start Parliamentary Elections

The Federal Electoral Commission (FEC) has issued a statement congratulating the election of the first two (2) members of the 11th Parliament of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
The Federal Electoral Commission (FEC) has thanked the outgoing Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble for his dedicated work in holding the by-elections.
They also thanked the Somaliland Electoral Commission (SEIT).
The committee also called on the member states of the federal government of Somalia and the committee in charge of the Benadiri seats to begin the election of the House of the People, to overcome the transitional period in the country.
