Fighting erupts again in Bossaso this evening

Heavy fighting between forces under the command of Puntland President Said Abdullahi Deni and the PSF has recently erupted in Bossaso tonight, according to local sources.
Witnesses said they can hear gunshots being fired by both sides.
Heavy gunfire and loud explosions can be heard in the center of Bossaso, at a time when most people were asleep.
Former Commander of PSF who was sacked, Gen. Mohamud Osman Diyano, said on his Facebook page that his forces had been attacked and heavy fighting was taking place.
“We are now under attack. They have broken the ceasefire promise we made today, ”he said.
The few people who remained in the battle zone have began to flee, fearing for their lives.
A Puntland ceasefire has failed, which took effect this afternoon with the situation in Bossaso reportedly very tense tonight.
