The results of today’s election held at the General Kahiye Somali Police Academy were already expected and predicted for the elected members.
The holding of this election comes at a time when the ongoing parliamentary elections in the country are still hotly debated.
However, seven members of the Electoral Disputes Resolution Committee were fired yesterday after being accused of meddling in the country’s political affairs.
