Galmudug: Federal Military and Police Clash in Dhusamareb

Reports from Dhusamareb the capital of Galmudug state say that fighting broke out between GorGor forces and police forces guarding the district headquarters and nearby checkpoints.
Gorgor’s forces reportedly opposed a police operation in the fight against drugs, sparking a clash between the two forces.
The fighting is said to have stopped with tensions high in central Dhusamareb and no casualties have been reported, but preliminary reports indicate that some of the wounded soldiers have been taken to Dhusamareb hospital.
The fighting has affected the flow of people and vehicles in Dhusamareb town, with various sections of the community expressing concern over the fighting.
Security forces in Dhusamareb have not yet commented on the fighting, and with Gorgir forces have been accused of firing on civilians in recent days.
