Ghana demolishes Somalia 7-1 in African Mini Football tournament

Ghana mini football team has defeated Somalia in their round of 16 game in the 2021 African Mini football championship in Nigeria.

Having lost their group opener to Egypt(3-1), the Black Blazzers went on to draw with Burkina Faso(3-3) and defeated Ivory Coast (3-1) in their last group game.

A hattrick from Appiah-Kubi, a brace from Wahab Boakye and a goal from Bernard Safo and Kwabena Anane each was enough to send the Black Blazzers into the next stage of the competition.

Ghana will take on the host nation, Nigeria on 15th July in the quarter-finals of the 2021 African mini-football championship.
