High Level reception for Somali PM Roble and delegates in Cairo (Photos)

Somali Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble and a delegation led by him arrived in the Egyptian capital Cairo, after departing from Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu this morning.

The Prime Minister and his delegation were warmly welcomed at Cairo International Airport by his Egyptian counterpart Mustafa Madbuuli and other Egyptian government officials.

Prime Minister Roble and his delegation arrived in Egypt on an official visit aimed at strengthening the long-standing ties and cooperation between the two countries.

The Prime Minister of Somalia has received an official invitation from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, and the two sides will hold meetings to discuss issues related to bilateral relations.

Prime Minister Roble will be accompanied by Foreign Affairs Minister Mohamed Abdirizak, Education Minister Abdullahi Abukar Haji and other government officials.

The Prime Minister’s visit to Egypt will last for two days, according to Egyptian Ambassador to Somalia Ilyas Omar Abukabar.
