Qali Mohamud Guhaad, the mother of Ikram Tahliil Farah, denied that her daughter had been killed by al-Shabaab.

Ikraan, a member of Somalia’s intelligence service, was abducted by al-Shabab militants in a statement released by the National Intelligence Service (NISA).

NISA did not elaborate on how Al shabab captured Ikran or the information surrounding her killing.

But Ikran’s mother said the National Intelligence Service Agency (NISA) was tracking the news gossips online and that they were responsible for her missing daughter.

She insists that so far there is no clear information on her daughter’s death.

“My daughter was killed by NISA,” she said.

The statement by NISA that al-Shabaab had killed and abducted Ikraan took hold on social media, with many doubts lingering on the minds of the people, and the issue also triggering the opposition politicians who accused the NISA commander of being behind the killing.
