Jubbaland Upper House Election Date Announced

The Jubbaland state election commission has today announced the date for the remaining four seats in the upper house of the Jubbaland constituency, after Ahmed Madobe last night announced the candidates for the four seats.
Chairman of the Jubbaland State Electoral Commission Dr. Siad Mohamed Mursal said candidates for the Upper House will be registered tomorrow, while elections for the remaining four seats in the Jubbaland administration will take place on Thursday.
If the Jubbaland administration completes the election of seats in the Upper House this week, with also Galmudug State expected to soon select the remaining two seats in the Upper House, it will pave way for the elections to begin of members from the Lower House of the People.
