South West State President Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed Laftagareen has fired Lower Shabelle Governor Abdikadir Mohamed Nur Sidi and his deputy security chief.
In a decree issued by the Office of the President of South West, Mohamed Abdirahman Nur has been appointed as the Governor of Lower Shabelle region while Ahmed Omar Mohamed has been appointed as the Deputy Governor of Lower Shabelle Security.
Lower Shabelle Governor Abdikadir Mohamed Nur Sidi was appointed to the post on November 16, 2020, and has been in office for 11 months, replacing his predecessor Ibrahim Adan Ali Najah.
