PM Roble addresses lawmakers in northern regions

The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia Mohamed Hussein Roble today met with members of both Houses of Parliament from the Northern Regions (Somaliland).
Prime Minister held the Cabinet level with the lawmakers and spoke about the election in the country’s which the Prime Minister is leading the preparations.
A statement from Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble’s Information Office said the Prime Minister had assured lawmakers that the general election, especially in the Northern Regions, would be conducted in a transparent and impartial manner.
“The prime minister has assured lawmakers that the general election, especially the seats in the northern regions, will be conducted in a transparent and impartial manner,” the statement said, and was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Mahdi Guled Khadar.
The members of the Somaliland Electoral Commission are a committee previously divided between one camp whose responsibility will be Deputy Prime Minister Mahdi Guled and the other camp that is of Chairman Abdi Hashi, while three other members have been appointed by Prime Minister Roble.
