Prime Minister Roble leaves for Jowhar this morning

Somali Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble and a delegation led by him are scheduled to visit Jowhar, the capital of Hir Shabelle region today.

The Prime Minister’s visit is aimed at surveying and assessing the flood situation that has impacted in parts of Jowhar district.

Yesterday, The prime minister’s bodyguards and staff where seen arriving in Jowhar ahead of the scheduled visit by PM Roble.

The president of HirShabelle state Ali Abdullahi Hussein (Ali Gudlaawe) who arrived in Jowhar yesterday did not speak to the media regarding the upcoming visit by Somali Prime Minister to the state.

Security has been tightened in Jowhar District, and the prime minister is scheduled to hold talks with Hir-Shabelle administration officials as well as to visit communities in some of the flooded areas in Jowhar town.
