Somali Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has ordered Somali government security agencies to immediately bring to justice the soldiers who killed a brother and sister in Mogadishu.
Prime Minister Roble said in a statement last night that it was unacceptable for Somali government soldiers to kill innocent civilians and thanked the police for arresting the suspects.
He also promised the families of those killed in Mogadishu that they would receive justice as soon as possible, and sent his condolences.
“I share the pain and grief and offer my condolences to the families of the two siblings members who were killed in Mogadishu, Zakaria Mohamud Hussein, Sowda Mohamud Hussein and also Mahad Abdirahman Mohamud. I instruct the perpetrators to be brought to justice immediately so that the victims and their families can receive justice,” Prime Minister Roble said in a statement.
Government forces killed siblings Zakariye Mohamud Hussein, Sowda Mohamud Hussein and Mahad Abdirahman Mohamud in the past few nights, as the forces were trying to open the busy traffic of Mogadishu in order to pass through.
Police say they are in the custody of the suspects, Abdiwael Moalim Adan and Dayah Nur Abdi Adan, who are currently in government custody and will be arraigned in a competent court.
