Prime Minister Roble heads to Galmudug

The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mohamed Hussein Roble and a delegation led by him are scheduled to arrive in Dhusamareb, the capital of Galmudug state today.

Roble’s visit is related to ensuring the conduct of parliamentary elections for members from the Galmudug state.

The final arrangements for the reception of the Prime Minister’s delegation are currently being held in the capital Dhusamareb, as security has been tightened in the district.

According to reports, the prime minister will hold private meetings with Galmudug’s top leaders to discuss the country’s elections.

The meeting is also expected to address the ongoing conflict between Ahlu Sunna and Galmudug on the outskirts of Dhusamareb in Galgadud region.

Roble’s trip to Dhusamareb marks the beginning of a series of trips he will make to regional administration headquarters, to observe the progress of the 2021 elections.
