Somali Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has met with some of the country’s security officials and members of the Somali Armed Forces Court.
The meeting was also attended by the newly appointed interim commander of NISA.
Recent reports suggest that Prime Minister Roble is discussing the latest developments in the country and the ongoing crisis among government officials.
The Prime Minister is said to have instructed the officers he met to co-operate fully with the newly-appointed NISA commander.
The Prime Minister also directed the Prosecution and the Armed Forces Tribunal to conduct an immediate and formal investigation into the case of Ikran Tahlil Farah.
“The prime minister has instructed the new director of NISA and the Benadir regional security and police commanders to fully support the court in carrying out its duties, as there have been previous challenges complaint’s made by the Ikran Tahlil case commission” a statement from the office of the Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia read.
The statement went on:
“The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia HE Mohamed Hussein Roble met with the Interim Director of the National Security and Intelligence Agency, the leadership of the Court Martial and the Commanders of the Benadir Regional Security and Police.
The Prime Minister instructed the Prosecution and the Armed Forces Tribunal to conduct an immediate and formal investigation into the case of Ikran Tahlil Farah.
The Prime Minister also instructed the new Director of NISA and the Benadir Regional Security and Police Commanders to fully support the court in carrying out its duties, as there have been challenges that was previously complained by the Ikraan case commission.“
