Prime Minister Roble meets with some of the state leaders ahead of consultative forum

The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia Mohamed Hussein Roble met tonight with the State Presidents of Galmudug, South West and HirShabelle States ahead of the forthcoming National Consultative Assembly in Mogadishu.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, Roble met with leaders of Galmudug, South West and HirShabelle, to discuss the opening of the upcoming National Consultative Council meeting in Mogadishu.
“The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia Mohamed Hussein Roble met tonight with the Presidents of Galmudug, South West and HirShabelle States ahead of the forthcoming National Consultative Assembly in Mogadishu. All state leaders have arrived in Mogadishu, ”said a statement from Roble’s office.
Prime Minister Roble met with Puntland and Jubbaland leaders at THEIR hotel in Mogadishu last night to discuss the outcome of a conference he announced a week ago.
State leaders now appear to be divided over the country’s political interests, and it remains to be seen what decisions will be made at the conference in Mogadishu.
Earlier, the meeting was rejected by the South West leader who later regretted the decision, following pressure from donors to Somalia, led by the United States.
