Mother ‘kills’ son in US as father denies baby

A Somali mother in the United States has been arrested for “slaughtering” her baby boy, who was allegedly dumped in a trash can at her home.
The mother, Fardowsa Abdullahi, 26, is being questioned by police, according to shocked local residents.
The tragic incident took place in St. Cloud, Minnesota, and the mother reportedly confessed to killing her three-month-old son.
According to reports, the father of the child had denied the baby, in which the young mother had then acted out of shock.
Fardowsa Abdullahi is currently on trial and charged with second-degree murder, and the boy’s body has been taken to Stearns County Jail in St. Louis. Cloud, for further investigation.
The painful act of the mother and this incident has been widely discussed on social media and throughout the Somali Diaspora.
The United States is home to a large Somali population and is experiencing a variety of crises, but this one is a new phenomenon, much to the dismay and shock of Somalis in the country as well as social media users.
