Somali Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has strongly condemned a suicide bombing at a tea shop in Mogadishu last night that left several people dead with many others injured.
The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a restaurant in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, killing at least five people and wounding dozens more.
Prime Minister Roble said that Al-Shabaab had killed innocent people in the blast and offered his condolences to the victims.
“I condemn the Al-Shabaab terrorist bombing in Mogadishu this afternoon that killed and injured innocent civilians. May God have mercy on the dead and heal the wounded. This barbaric act shows the terrorists’ commitment and their violence, which makes it our duty to each other and to collaborate in the fight against terrorism who want to eradicate our objective of peace and governance, “said Prime Minister Roble.
