State President Laftagareen receives warm welcome in Kismayo

The President of Jubaland State, Ahmed Mohamed Islam, today received at the Sayid Mohamed Abdille Hassan International Airport the President of South West State, Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamud Lafta Gareen, who is on a two day official visit to Jubaland.

Various officials from both houses of the Jubaland government, military officials and members of the public were also present at the reception.

The President of Jubaland State, Ahmed Mohamed Islam, said that he was very pleased with the visit of the South West delegation to Jubaland, noting that it was their second home and that they were not guests and that South West and Jubaland were neighbors of many things shared between them.

On the other hand, the President of South West State expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome extended to him and underlined that the two peoples and their states have a deep relationship of brotherhood and cooperation.
